std 200
3 srm 4
ac20
Now at 64 kph this thing is diffenently a bit slow, just did really good with it suprisingly but im sure it was a fluke.
How are these cents supposed to be? Do you make them fast? Or slow with hard hitting power? or some happy medium?

Near max XL is what I usually run. Fast enough to get in and out of trouble without taking too much damage
The CN9-AL is also a good variant

I've gotten some very nice rounds with this build, and if you want you can take Artemis off for whatever you want more of but I recommend keeping it on. I used to run it with a bigger engine too which is nice for the extra speed, but I found myself running out of ammo a little more than I liked so I downsized the engine and put in more ammo hence the first build I linked.

I've been running CN9s since closed beta, and have NEVER found them preferable with an STD. The "Meta" build for a while was to pack a large STD and pack it full of SRMs. I always found if you packed an AC10/20/Gauss, and the same SRMs, you could cause a lot more pain, early on in the match, which is a heck of a lot more useful than running around as a stick going "pew pew". And since the AH has zero CT hardpoints to Zombie with, even less reason overall to STD one.
My default AH since Closed Beta (before they removed it for the YLW. Only difference was there were no DHS yet) and how I still run it to this day:

Better off doing that with the D for it's insane cooldown quirks. Though I prefer a standard ac10 on mine.
I prefer to keep my LA at max armor, to shield longer, so basically run max armor except each leg is at 40.
Ac10 (ammo x3), 2x ML, 2x SRM4 (ammo x1.5) and a 295xl. Ammo is a little light for the SMRs but it just means I tend to hold them for sure shots, instead of spamming. But the AC10 has a 30% Cooldown on the D, vs a 40% for the LB-X, and that concentrated damage is well worth losing that extra 10%. Bust a fresh cap every 1.3 seconds. That's my kind of rodeo.

LBX is really no better or worse with CD quirks. It's really not a very good weapon unless you have high speed movement + something else to actually open up armor with in reasonable sized alpha shots Otherwise its mostly just a good filler weapon that actually works somewhat well with a decent sized srm6 strike since a lot of armor is going to be open while the LBX spread is actually smaller than the srm6 spread at ~250-270m.

being able to pump more wounds fast is ALWAYS an advantage. LBX is still a bad weapon, but it's a better bad weapon if you get a higher RoF. There Is no downside to popping a cap every second, especially when it's double the RoF of the same weapon on the AH, and I'll take a pair of MLs over the 3rd SRM, any day of the week.
All SRM6 and LBX does is ensure you just sand paper everything. Also 3x SRM4 allows concentrated damage, and quicker kills. All SRM6 do, everall, is give elevated damage numbers without the congruent kill increase.

which is why I find it most effective with a 255xl, AC20, and 2x SRM4/1xSRM2. Again, if I'm gonna use a subpar weapon, I'll use the variant that really maximizes it. And top speed between 255 and 275 IMO is not sufficient enough to make me go for the weaker payload.
*shrugs*
