Cw Future Works, Things That Need To Be Implemented!

Thank you PGI for all your work until now. Really good job guys, with a bit of tuning in training grounds we can have a incredible game (if dont already have one ;)).
But my point here is to talk about CW, and that’s what I am going to do.

First “introduction”: Curent CW state isn’t by far a good game, we have planets, that’s ok, but no conquest logic, you just drop in a random map and play for a feel points. What we need here is something like a real attack and defends experience (like scouts to see enemy dispositions, waiting for new feature already announced). Units that need to be posted in a planet (even locked there) to HAVE that planet, and ,from there, launch their attacks (and defend of course), that way units will be encouraged to stay on a planet. Further more, to conquer a new planet you have to maintain a strong presence at least during 3 cease fires (more or less) so that defender have time to bring reinforcements.
Those entire things are made so that faction territory advance is slower and a response is made possible, making for a durable CW war and not that anomaly we have now.

Second “Unit Arrangement”: I will start by saying: CW is a place for units, and ONLY units, PUGs have to be encouraged to play, but it’s ridiculous the idea they can play realistically without a unit. For that matter, what we need is a good hub for recruitment, forums are ok but only a minority of player base uses this method. So what I am proposing here is a real Outreach or Terra, as a neutral ground for players to talk and be recruited (clans can have Strana Mechty?). Just think, you are starting your life in CW, u just don’t know what to do, planet to go, who to talk, so a tip points you to Outreach, with a new window you ca finally found a place to call home.(that way we can even have our Solaris, just imagine!!)

Third “Unit Disposition”: One way to reach those options is by introducing good rewards, like the ones you have been doing, but by present standards all players are like little mercenaries vying for c-bills, that’s really degrading for house units, especially for clanners <_< .House unit or clans need really good rewards for holding a planet, and I say REALLY good, that way they can form a BANK, and with that money and resources contract REAL mercenary units to conquer or defend those planets they can’t reach our don’t have staff. I think that Clanner can have less rewards so that we can have more units with IS. With new faction rewards and conquest logistics it opens space for adding of new factions! Even new features like spending c-bill in planetary defences like turrets, tanks, infantary, air assets, etc.!!![/color]


Well, that’s all I have to say. I know you guys from PGI are working really hard to make it to Steam, and I, like a bunch of players, am really thankful for all the hard work, but what I’m asking here is for you to consider CW like an entirely different game, where we can use a bit of role-playing and make this an incredible experience. I am not hoping to this in the next month (lol) but after all those changes from the last Town Hall, maybe, who knows?

Maybe implement bots should be a nice idea with CW population drop and drop ... well nobody wanna solve CW balance problem also people dont come back ... just saying ( again and again ).
