For those of you not in the know, Unity's a free to use 3D/2D Engine that many an indie dev use to make games of varying quality. I use it myself because I'm terrible at engines that don't have an idiot friendly UI, and I enjoy making little prototypes for myself on my devices.

Unity is also Heartstone's engine. I imagine Blizzard picked it for the ease of deployment to IOS/Android.

So, to the point.

I'm willing to bet that a lite version of Battletech is likely being toyed with. At a guess, I'd say it'd be F2P Mech Pokemon collecting, salvaging mech parts to build a collection. Failing that, paid only on IOS.

Unity makes it really easy to make a game multi-platform, and having had some experience with it I can tell you the engine is powerful. Don't let the idea that it could be on mobile make you think the game will be any less than it could be.

Never said it would.

Though I doubt it'd be the entire game on mobile. People tend to not play seriously with Hearthstone on mobile, so I think I can safely assume this will be a very casual friendly game if it's made.
