Hi guys just wondering about how many drops you do in a year?
I have a year and 3 months and I have over 10,000 drops
Wins / Losses 5,443 / 5,391
Kill / Death Ratio 0.89
My K/D has been dropping like a rock I was at 0.92 before the PSR patch
I am tempted to calculate the rate of change and come up with the approximate number of drops to get to a different tier

However, it doesn't count CW or private lobbies and I did alot of drops in both (wouldn't be surprised if they added at least another 500).

200 drops since closed beta and yet you have 6000 posts???
Forumside is alot more fun then the game.
And pretty much a large portion of them since Jan, when I gave the game a go and played my Warhawk in about 100 some odd games.
CBT I was terrible, less then 200 avg dmg, 1/10 in WL, 3/11 KDR.
Im sitting now at 144/120 KDR and 88/89 WL. Like 406avg dmg.
Stats dont track CW, but ive prolly played another 20-30 in that.
Id play 30,000 games if this thing had PVE though.

Those current stats aren't bad really...what's not so fun about actually playing?

All the 0, 1, 2, 3-12 wipes in under 4 minutes. The getting stuck with terribads, ending with me dead having not even had the chance to really even experience the game. Yes, alot of it was my own PC being bad, 20FPS and my own inability to find a working sensitivity setting. But with the games ending so damn fast, it didnt leave much time to even understand what the hell happened. It wasnt until CW went live and I was able to play the game for more then 3 minutes at a time that I really began to improve.
Ive solved all my issues and yeah, my stats have improved quite a bit. 35-50FPS and being able to aim...its wonderful
But PVP, I like to play a game, not go into a battle for 3-5 minutes, fire a few rounds and end. Every game in MWO feels more like a short demo of actual gameplay.
Like Armored warfare, it has PVE, every second spent in a PVE game is time spent playing, moving, shooting and enjoying the game. MWO, its move up, hide a little, shoot a little, game ends. CW was alot more fun at first cuz the game lasted awhile, but in the end, it just turned into a slightly extended version of normal Q drops.
I prefer indepth, long, lengthy gameplay that last 10-20 minutes, if not longer, at a time. I also like to be able to move around, spread my wings, and actually feel like im driving the mech or playing the game. MWO, you leave the pack, you die quickly. sustainable output is crazy, even assault mechs dont feel like assault mechs in this game. MW4, I found that to be very fun and would be playing it still if I had a joystick that wasnt ********.
Ive gone in with groups, but its more a competition with the other guys for the little bit of dmg I can get in before they face melt the enemy team. So, its alot of running around to each engagement, just to have it end by the time i get my nice slow 71kph over there.
AW's PVE is really how I like a game to play. Plus, ive played PVP games, im kinda over the having to work overly hard to maintain my Epeen and all the drama that comes with PVP. Really, WoT ruined my enjoyment of PVP play. MWO didnt help any.
I wont lie though, since the PSR changes, I did play like 14 or so games, ive had like 2 losses and 10 wins. The games were better, it was a bit more enjoyable, but still, it has that same lingering just walk around a little, shoot a little, game ends feel...
When this game finally gets PVE, I will be in it for the long haul. I keep buyin up mechs just for that very reason. In hopes that one day I will be able to drop in my Mauler in a nice 4man Coop PVE mission...
If this game got PVE as good, or even half as good as AW is now, I would be unable to put this game down.
