I think it looks really nice. And even though i prefer the MWO's design, i really do wish we got the nice looking medium laser, this one has. Instead of those awkward square boxes we get <_<

What i'm digging most are those bitchin' arm guns.

Edit: Actually, if you take out the central laser on the top picture it looks an awful lot like a K2 catapult. Sexy.

My front laser is bigger than yours!

I like the bigger MGs... if our MG would look this way, people would stop telling nonsense like "anti-infantry only"; that looks like it hurts, even in a mech.

I want that on my locursed!

Yeah, but it wouldn't be MWO without awkward square boxes for lasers... B)

There is hope that guns will actually have proper proportions in that game. That is excellent.

Apart from 'mechs like the Hunchback who have normal looking barreled lasers, both arm-mounted and on the head.

The center laser combined with that antenna looks like a fishing pole stuck through the mech.

Looks good though, but I like the MWO version more.

In BT, lasers have barrels. No need for logic.

Hate the chin gun, but it's pretty awesome otherwise. Still, I'm a bigger fan of Alex's version in MWO.

Maybe the barrel is a series of focusing arrays.
Or, the entire laser system is housed in the barrel itself.

Now the Locust finally has a twistable looking torso instead of the legs being connected the the main fuselage and the canopy is definitely improved, now you can sit in the middle without having your vision obstructed by the middle frame and now it has proper but chunky looking machine guns instead of it's weird "SRM 3's". I hope the Stinger and wasp will get a massive face lift instead of looking like knockoff Macross's Variable Fighters.

Which is why I said no need for logic. I like barrels.

All the guns look ridiculously large. The laser has always been long-barreled, but thin enough it looked fairly balanced. Those cannons, however, look absurd: a 70mm bore is no longer a machine gun, no matter how small the housing is.

Apart from that, I like it. It's now got a waist and a proper canopy, retains the chin turret and long antenna... still fully identifiable as a Locust while looking like a proper war machine.

It looks cool. I still prefer MWO's general Locust design (minus square lasers) but Catalyst's design is nice.

It's a shame for what has happened to the Raven's laser barrels.

It's a multipurpose antenna.

I like Mechwarrior O's Locust better. To bad there isnt a page to check all the mechs with sci fi background and description somewhere on this site and, more importantly, in game.

I like the MWO's design better too.
Except for the weapon geometry being sh*tty boxes for lasers.

I want that chin mounted barreled laser!
