I'm not sure if it's just people who don't know how match scoring works or what but I'm seeing very frequent game avoidance now. As in finding a remote hiding spot and shutting down at the beginning of the match. Then waiting for the loss (or carry win). All 4 times I've seen it this week it was deliberate and the person even stayed chatting the whole match.

Are there some people who think surviving a losing match won't result in PSR loss? I know it was a problem in CW from the last event where people would get good score with their first mech then hide all gain so the damage wasn't divided between 4 deaths.

It's just weird to see it so often now in regular pugs.

Take a screenshot or capture a short video and report. I guess that's about the only thing that'll help in the long run.

Maybe PGI could implement a factor for scoring based on initial movement as well as percentage of being connected during each match.

Avoiding combat for the entire game is against the ToS. Screenshot and report to moderation@mwomercs.com

As for why they'd do it? Who knows. There's no way to boost your PSR this way, so maybe they're trying to drop their PSR without negatively affecting their KDR. This is futile however, as 99% of the time if you do this your team will call you out for being a **** and tell the enemy where you are instead of waiting 10 minutes for the timer to expire.
