1 SRM? I laugh at it.

The Battlemaster's arms are quite low, and that's why I don't put weapons there, in mine.

Warhammer torsi are quite interesting, at least in the art.

Same here. Battlemaster has SIX cockpit level hardpoints, where I place all my wubs.

A redesign I actually (mostly) approve of. Good job.

I'll admit I like a few others, but somewhere during the transition they just lost the 'feel' of the mechs. This one is very plainly a Warhammer, though I'm not a big fan of the arms losing their classic cylindrical design. On the other hand, I can understand the need for a redesign due to how the hardpoint system works, bolting an extra ER PPC on to the classic arms would look rather silly (or maybe because of that, they should have stuck with the old ones?).

Bought it regardless, can't wait for it to start collecting dust next to my marauders once the novelty wears off.

I can't help but think it looks terrible visually speaking. I just don't know, and with the talk going on with tonnage restrictions in the group queue I might for the first time just not buy anything instead of the top end pack.

Yep.
Looking at the art, and reading warhammer hardpoints, it should be an interesting mech, above all WHR-6R and WHR-6D

Hmm... the ones with ballistic hardpoints feels like smaller Marauders, ballistic torso, low energy arms.
No jump jets either.

I don't really know what to think of this.

Wait a minute, looks terrible visually speaking? It's almost exactly the classic Macross Tomohawk destroid save for a few beefier areas, a slightly changed cockpit, smaller searchlight, and sideways SRM pack.

Seriously, side by side comparison an image of the classic Macross Tomohawk Destroid, and this new warhammer, there's a lot of similarity there.

Then look up the "reseen" designs for Project Phoenix's Warhammer... THEN ***** about this design.

**** man, just can't please some people.

You were one of those kids that struggled with trying to put the square peg in the round hole I'm guessing? <_<

You just listed several things that are different, and then said see its pretty good because it wasn't as bad as something else. That is right up there with telling someone you have that exact same shirt only its orange instead of blue and had no sleeves. I'm happy you like it, but to me it looks absurd.

And that's the larger portion of the reason I won't purchase these new packs.

Because they make so much money off of hotfixes and Map packs?

Oh right...

what the f* is a 434 Standard Engine?
Likewise, what's a 432 Standard ?!

That's the armor, amount and type. 434 points of standard armor. As opposed to, for example, the Loyalty reward Zeus, which has ferro armor.

Im boarding the "give more content, fix bugs" train.
Don't get me wrong, I spend my thousand some bucks on this game too, but without a Comunity Warfare mode worth of fighting for, whats the point? Grind new mecha forever?

I want to suport the game, actually MWO has being the ONLY game I play since the founders program. But, gives us a deeper CW with a meaning for planetary conquest, give the pug/group queue a permanent leaderboard so the comps have something to fight for too...

Deliver more reasons to keep playing, and we will keep buying your mechs!

I feel your pain man, I actually ordered the Wrath pack for the resistance 1 collection, then got a refund out of sheer frustration with the current state of the game. I actually broke down for the Marauder pack though, just too much of a BT nostalgia moment (plus at 20 bucks the basic pack is a pretty good deal with all the rewards thrown in).

And damn you PGI, now I'm probably going to get sucked in again when you throw out a great looking Warhammer like that! Would it really have killed you to wait at least a month between the packs!

I'm begining to think the new release pattern is going to be 1 unseen mech a month for some time to come, and damn if the devils at PGI haven't come up with a good temptation in those classic mechs.
