Its mostly the arms that bother me. To me the upper arm is too short and thin which gives it an odd disproportionate look. The other two things that bother me are the light and the head. The light is just too small, and while I assume that is so that it doesn't become an easy target it just doesn't look good. The head makes it look like a turtle with its head tucked in, or that someone hit it over the head with a mallet. With the head that way it looks like one giant shoulder and more or less flat across the top. I don't know why but my imediate reaction when seeing it is not good.
how large do you think a modern light needs to be? You can focus mass candle power from small housings, whereas large ones would just be shell traps.
for the record, this

is a Destroid Tomahawk, from Macross. Known as the Warhammer in Battletech.
Notice the size of the upper arms, and the location of the cockpit.
So to me, it's much more true to it's roots than this

which has a much more exposed and less tank like viewing area, the upper arms look far too clumsy and massive (yes, better armored, but IRL it would probably have jagermech type arms if we were going to get technical) and IMO, the massive biceps really make the barrels look way too thin and wimpy.

Just my 2ct, from an art standpoint as a guy who's all time fave mech IS the Warhammer. Not a "right vs wrong" thing, but I think Alex captured the spirit far better. Though I do agree with SilentSooYun, that some some of counterweight or heat exhaust on the back of the elbow area would balance them better.
