OK, this maybe dumb on my part. But the diffenent classes of mechs are gone. I was testing a medium mech out then change to a heavy mech. Went back to the to the choose mech window and the one I was useing is gone. Did I mess thngs up or is there a "test" period then one looses that particular mech?

Check the top of your mechlab, there are filtering options.
You might of turned off the one taht shows trial mechs.

Directly below the buttons that read ALL, LIGHT, MEDIUM, ASSAULT, CHAMPION, HERO is a bar that shows which type is currently selected. On that bar, at the far left is an arrow. If the arrow is pointing to the right, click it. The arrrow will then point down and the mechs will appear.

Happens to me all the time and I have no idea why.
