Overall? of all time?

battlemechs
IS - Victor 9k
- Gauss, srm4, and a pair of med pulse on a well protected jump capable chassis

Clan - Grizzly
- Gauss, LRM10, and a set of each Pulse on a well protected jump capable chassis

omnimechs
IS- Avatar prime
-LBX-ac10, 2x LRM 10, 2x Machine Guns, 2x Med lasers - sturdy and well armed

Clan- Cauldron Born Prime (only jags call it an Ebon Jaguar :) )
- Gauss, LRM 10, SRM 2, LBX-ac5, ER Med laser - gun for each range, and tough enough

I like having weapons for each range envelope i guess...

i f i have to choose one of the above... it has to be the Avatar

Ive always been partial to the Uziel. A tough medium with excellent firepower and jump jets. And that cool, bird-like design just rocks.

Dervish, sadly often overlooked in MW games...

Bushwacker BSW-2, since it is the closest thing I have to my hipster-brawling mech on MW4. (LBX/20, twin SRM6, twin XSPL)

Bushy is the coolest looking mech out there, especially when you paint teeth on the side.

3025 tabletop: GHR-1H Grasshopper. The most underrated mech in lvl1. Also a big fan of the BattleMaster and Awesome.
Clan: Always loved the Nova (Black Hawk) and the good old Timby (Mad Cat)
But I think the coolest looking mech will always be the Axman.

Centurion and the Jenner. I put my Clantech in them and blow up those damn Clanner mechs.

And also the legendary Phoenix Hawk.

I really enjoyed the WR-DG-02FC War Dog. 75 Tons of lethal bite. With the Guardian ECM and its long range ability this mech is hammering enemy from range before they even know where the fire is coming from. And with a couple of modifications to weapons loadout, like getting rid of the wasted tonnage on the OS streaks and the rear mounted pulse laser, you can add extra long range weapons such as and extra ER Large Laser, Large Laser,or LRM 5 or an impressive arsenal of medium range weapons for close encounters 5 additional med lasers, SRM's, or combination of both, or forgo weapons and add sub systems such as Beagle active probe, C3 Computer,Aartemis IV FCS, or Tag. Just a terribly versital mech with good movement and highly armored. Used properly a lance of these Mechs can obliterate an equal sized mech force almost before they can return fire.

Started playing MW and MW:GBL around 6 or 7ish years old when my dad bought the game. The Summoner [Thor] always terrified me because (as my lil' brain registered it) IT DIDN'T HAVE A HEAD, and the AI Summoners were always the hardest to kill somehow.

Now it's Summoner, Summoner, Summoner. All day ERRY DAY.

9 times out of 10 I will pick the wolfhound when it comes to light mechs.
1. its hard to hit,
2. a good shootin platfrom,
3.great armor for a light mech,
4.good heat efficancy,
5. energy weapons dont run out of ammo
6.and it has great firepower.

Although a puma has 2 erppcs it is slow and is a much easier target.

In CBT both the Puma and Wolfhound have the both same exact speed. MW4 : Mercs "nerfed" the Puma to keep it "balanced" when the Puma should have another targeting computer and still remaining fast. The Adder can kill IS mediums for god sake.

Haven't seen a single vote for the Wyvern yet, so here's mine. I'm encouraged by the Grasshopper enthusiasts, though. It's another good choice for the sort of urban, close-quarters fighting we'll likely be in.
