OH NOZE!!! Low mounted hardpoints!!! DoA!!!!! Whatever will we do!?!?!?!?!? (because, like, nobody who wanted the Warhammer apparently knew it had low hardpoints...like say....oh.... the Black Knight?)

Ummmmm......not buy it if it doesn't fit your clan crutch meta needs? But seriously.....unless you are like, both a Tier 1 and play for a comp unit....get over yourself (yes there is some hyperbole in this post, for those too slow on the uptake to figure that out on their own), you aren't good enough for it to really matter that much anyhow.

As for me? I look forward to getting mine, and having a blast.

BTW Alex? Right in the feels, man, right in the feels.

***EDIT, oh...also?

Then you wouldn't have taken the time to post at all. Nice try though. ;)

The side torso MGs are mounted only a little bit below the cockpit...I imagine some people trying to turn it into a dual-Goose sniper. Would be either uber fragile or slower than the Daishi (or both) though...

I don't care ultimately in the sense that people will throw money at it because... nostalgia. That's the only true reason these days (I mean, there's the Marauder).

It has actually the potential to be a metamech of sorts, but the "bulge" under the cockpit area is kinda disconcerting. Again, I can't really evaluate it anyways until we have the thing actually done and completed.

It still comes back to "nostalgia" instead of much else, with a potential bit of meta.

Looks lackluster, like the BK did before it came out...and turned out to be.

Not a fanboy, so no clue what the buzz is about, just looks like another not-very-exciting mech with sub-par hardpoints.

I do get the joke, but trouble is Bishop, it could actually turn out to be a potato, from the looks of it(hardpoints, no shield arms, etc), so then it's just yet another IS potato.

Well actually, the torso hardpoints don't look to be too significantly much lower than the cockpit. Yeah, they're low if you measure from the top of the missile launcher, but if you measure from where you actually aim from, they look to be perfectly fine.

Of course, it's a Warhammer and not a Phoenix Hawk, so none of this matters anyways. Muh Grasshoppers will still be far more awesome than this sucker when I feel like slumming in a Sphere heavy anyways. Gimme mah Pixhawks and we'll start talking hardpoints.

It has a high(ish) ballistic in each torso. Ample energy allocation. Dual gauss/AC20/AC10 all over the place. Seems meta enough to me.

Judging by the concept art, the torso hardpoints might end up higher than on the BK. They seem to be only slightly lower than the 3E on the HBR-Primes left torso.

more vomiting

it's why we can't have nice things.

Give kids these days the keys to an all original, numbers matching, immaculate 55 Nomad, and they'll tear it up, add fuel injection, a big block crate motor, crushed velvet interior an overrated sound system and make it into a low rider. Totally tank any actual value in the pursuit of FotM "cool".

Bish... I'm glad to see you're not caught up in the Meta-doa rhetoric.

I'm at a point where I truly believe if a mech offering does not fit within this bizzare comp-vetted meta box, every mech to follow will be doa in the communities eyes... Which is just sad.

Once I saw a perfect image of the meta-mech that was pencil thin with high mounted hard points.... It so sad that while clearly snark driven its honestly not far from the truth.
