I really like the -5P Hopper. 8 MPLAS spread between the torsos and head (leaving your arms for twist tanking, ineffective though that may be on the Hopper). Great with the jump jets, very tanky with quirks.

It's a good mech. I'm getting OT though. :)

The tanky quirks are nice and I like the 8 energy points, but I also like articulated arms. I'm often twisted to a point in a circle strafe brawl with someone and torso-only weapons are limiting at that point. Plus I usually find myself on some kind of high ground or low ground and can't fire up/down at a juicy target.

Back on topic... the BK suffers that torso-centric approach as the GHR. Yes the mounts are low so hill humping is a no go, but the pitch is OK on the BK compared to the GHR.

Still the distance between the waist guns of the BK and the cockpit make me fire stuff into the dirt all the time. Ugh!

With the confirmed CT fixing coming on the 6th, I think I will stick with the STD engine.... :D

You're insane if you mount anything other than a standard engine on a black knight, its too big.

Now if only we had light fusion engines...

And let me tell you why I do not consider this to be Meta.

1) On a chassis where all you have are energy hardpoints, what else you gonna do?
2) HARK! Is that an unused hardpoint?
3) Dual AMS.
4) I considered going XL because I have yet to lose a ST in this thing but STD is better.

6) Visually, LL in Right arm are like an energy lance for my knight. Aesthetically pleasing.

Disclaimer: This is a lazy representation. I do plan better distribution of my AMS ammo and different distribution of my armor points.

NOTE: My Black Knight is painted all black, but I am considering buying white to better represent my White Knight reputation. :D
