Can we please have an option to hide mechs during Mech Selection?
Like a deep storage area where I put my Victors while waiting for the rebalance . . .

A mechbay version of K-Town. I support this.

Could this also help with the initial connection to the game? If I remember correctly, it slows down as you get more mechs and must load them all when you first connect after login. Mechs in storage could remain unloaded until called for, streamlining the process a bit.

Good idea! Hadn't thought of that.

But what if you have a bad taste in mechs like me?

I would be satisfied with the quick select they had in the first UI. But storage would also work. Both would be awesome.

A mech favourites list would also work.

PGI should just get the UI to auto-hide the Tier 5 mechs. Like, when they arbitrarily decide "Hmm, let's give the Orion terrible quirks", they should just go ahead and auto-hide it from people's UI. Just to save the players the head-ache, you know?
"Don't even worry about this mech, guys. It's terrible. We'll just hide it from your UI."

Or perhaps have the filter option of "Favourite Mechs" (which is selected by the player via Mechlab)?

This could help immensely when reconnecting after a crash, though I'd prefer the option to automatically connect to a match after a client crash, skipping the mechlab entirely.
