What joystick to buy for beta?

Now I would love to buy a joystick to fully enjoy the game. I only have Logitech G13, two XBox360 controllers and a Wireless Wheel to play Forza. I think all those would be a subpar choice for controlling my Catapult.
The real question is: What joystick to buy?
I know, that Artemis (http://www.razerzone.com/artemis) is coming, but that hardware might be months if not a year away from Open Beta.
Is there any good candidate?
Maybe something to complement the Logitech G13, or a stand alone solution? I did not play any game in the recent past that needed a joystick, and the last time I had a real joystick (10+yrs ago) it was terrible (I mean the joystick, because I brought one off-the-shelf, not by recommendation).

Also if you look at the Hunchback concept art- check the cockpit interior pic, and you'll see that if you used something like the Saitek X52 you're going to have a way more authentic experience, as the Artemis doesn't have a thrust handle anything like it's meant to be.
Even the X52's joystick itself looks more like it, compared to the Artemis.
Only perk really is the center radar screen?

I made a thread about this, and it has like 10 pages of delicious info on people debating what they like about their mouse + keyboard, or joystick combinations. Go read that instead of making people type all their reasons again.

edit: I don't know how much Joystick configurations they'll implement so you may just want to wait until launch before "buying" a stick... not sure how well button mapping will work at launch (hopefully very well)
the problem is if its made JUST for keyboard/mouse.. you have to be able to map the axis of the throttle.. but i'm sure they know all of this and will implement it just fine at some point... (really hope at launch)

This is a great shame as most of their stuff would be fantastic if it were properly manufactured and was reliable.
I have bought their stuff time and again thinking 'surely it can't be as bad this time'. The last being the Razer Onza Pro game controller - this lasted less than 4 weeks (the three replacements never actually made it past 3 weeks). That was most definitely the last Razer product I will buy.
The Artemis does look cool though.

Sorry guys. I typed „joystick” into the forum search box. That topic did not show up. I do have a life outside of forums, I don't read all comments in all topics ever made. When I have a question I will do a simple search, if I do not find what I'm looking for I ask. Simple, really. No need to be rude about it.
@Bloodshed Romance and @Uilleam Labhruidh thanks a lot for the tip on Saitek x45/x52. It's good to know that some forum members can reply in a normal and polite fashion.

Interesting, as I own 5 Razer peripherals and they have all lasted 3-6 YEARS and counting. QC must have gone severely gone down hill. All my Razer gear has performed flawlessly since day one.
I'm still on the fence with the Artemis though. It really needs a full throttle for me to buy. If not, I'll be getting a Saitek 52x Pro.

I own 2 headsets (megalodon/Carcharias), 1 Razer mouse (orochi), 1 razer mouse pad (kabuto), Razer speakers (ferox), xbox360 controller for PC (onza tournament), and 1 razer keybaord (blackwidow standard), and of course! The RAZER HYDRA.
I have not had to contact customer support for any of these products.. and all have held up just fine for about 6-12 months now..
my Megalodons lights on the headset still shine as bright as the day I got it..(most said they went out 1-2 months)
i've abused my Razer Carcharias many times (ran the cord over with the chair a few times... oops....) and it still works fine
my ferox are loud as crazy and really have like a 13 hour battery life.. no issues whatsoever (also they have been dropped about 3-4 feet off my desk a few times... but thats my own fault and they still work like a charm..)
my onza has no problems.. one friend broke his right trigger.. but he abuses all his controllers.. mine has held up just fine..
my Orochi works fine.. marcos work fine.. only con is its battery life on bluetooth..
my blackwidow types just fine.. no keys stick or other misc things..
my Razer Kabuto.. slides when i'm playing games (only a little.. but over time it can slide off and be really weird) but I just set one corner under my keyboard and it solves it just fine.. (it is a "mobile" mat that I am using for my desktop....)
I have also given a friend a Razer Orca (green headset) and he loves it.. has no problems.. and great sound quality (he uses it mainly for music)
gave a friend the Starcraft 2 mouse that came as a gift for my megalodon and he has had no problems with it.. other than it feels just.. plastic...
but other than "stories" i've had no bad luck with razer thus far..
I really wanted their switchblade SWTOR keyboard.. but they can't produce their products fast enough evidently...
oh and I almost forgot.. I own the Razer keyboard bag.. the pockets are kinda small for accessories but I fit all my computer cables in it for when I am going somewhere with my rig.. it also holds my G19 just fine..
(it holds 1 6ft HDMI cable, 2 PC power cables, Razer Ferox (in its carry case), my g700 and its charging cable, my Razer Kabuto, and of course my G19 and its power adapter)
the only down sides to the keyboard bag i've had is that the keyboard pocket's seem busted.. but thats also because I have been rough with this case and the other thing is that the zipper handle broke because I overstuffed it once to see if more stuff would fit (it fit.. but I broke the zipper handle.. not the zipper itself.. the zipper puller tab)...
so everyone always saying "EVERY razer product is crap.. i've had a 100% different experience.. and can explain why things broke because I am rough on my equipment sometimes..
and not every product made is "life resistant" like Casio makes their phones/watches....
EDIT: as for the Razer Artimes.. it needs a full throttle for me to even consider buying it.. the selling point is the screen and joystick... I want a FULL MECH expierence.. and that requires a joystick and throttle.. AT LEAST... just sayin...
also it looks like its going to be VERY over priced...

I agree. I own a Razer mouse which looks nice but started developing quirks after a few months. From reading online reviews at places like Amazon it seems that I am not alone - the quality of their products is not what you expect if you look at the pricetag.
I would recommend Saitek or Thrustmaster sticks. The X52 Pro is an excellent HOTAS, although many people don't like the lacking stiffness of the srpings. Thrustmaster is supposedly better in that regard (haven't owned a thrustmaster stick for a while), but also seems to be more expensive.

Other than that. I mean trying out the Joystick in a flight combat game or something. I have heard people play 1st person shooter vechicle combat with joysticks too…

I use exclusively CH products. I have various Saitek and MS FFB sticks in reserve but always use the CH. Stick/Throttle/Rudder Pedals/TrackIR. I will be ready for robot Armageddon.
