all of my favorites from original BT.
He's a Clanner. Thinks the world revolves around TimberWolves and that there was no game before MW2, etc.....
It's like explaining to kids these days of a time without cellphones......

So if i like 900 of the 1000 aspects of Battletech but dislike some initial japanese toy mechs (and some objectively determinable idiocy in the BT rules), I must leave?
Ignorant and arrogant much?
btw: I played Crescent Hawk's Revenge as a child. I probably know BT longer than most people here.
That does not mean I can't recognize childish foolnishness if I see it.
One might say the classic marauder is the "core" of BT and guess what: they changed it because it was identically stolen from robotech.
I personally consider the stackpole novels and the IS vs. Clans to be the core of BT (which has much more relevance than some initial child toy designs)
See, toy robots, all there.

Wow, some people are touchy, aren't they.
Ever hear of hyperbole, trolling for grins, etc? Chill pill dude. Seriously, remove stick from ****** and R-E-L-A-X.
But maybe, just if you want to keep it real and all serious like? Don't crap on what other people like, and they won't crap on what you like? K-K-Krazy concept, INORITE?

It's much more fun to sit here and watch you get all huff and puffy, while I keep eating mah popcorn. Since you decided to make this into a soap opera, bruh.

pretty sure that comment was made when specifically pressed about the Flea.
Which was along the lines of: The Flea is slower than the locust, similar hardpoints and geometry to the locust, and has les versions to the Locust, thus it brings NOTHING to the table, and even said it was "dead to him".
I certainly did not read it as a blanket attack on all future 20 tonners, and mechs like the Stinger/Wasp are humanoid and jump, thus will play differently than the Flea/Locust, or even the Commando.
As for the Wasp, they only just started bringing in Macross Unseen with the Warhammer and Marauder, why would we have expected to see the Wasp by now?
