Here we go everyone, show me your Cicada? who found the best lookin camo for that weird armor skin?

I'll start with this tiger camo:

And yes, you can post the other L mechs, too. If you have to...

I'm currently unable to even check if i got it, but i fear that the Wolverine will be the only Loyalty mech i'll get, because i can't remember the last time i actually bought MC (packs are just such a better deal).

So, no Flying CDA or Zeus for me.

Though, i'm really loving how the hex-pattern seems to work. I wonder how it looks with more complex camos like the Buccaneer or Phranken (so post pics guys)

I didn't buy any MC this year, so no Cicada for me. That's fine though, I was never a big fan of the mecha-yaga-hut anyway.

Now I should be getting the Wolverine and Zeus. I have no idea if any of them are any good though.

Wolverine will probably be bad-to-mediocre, it's basically a 6R (which is considered to be the worst Wolverine) just with MASC and some UAC5 quirks (with no ability to mount 2 of them).

Zeus, well, i don't know much about the Zeus, so i can't comment on it.

As you can see, the armor pattern is so shiny you can barely see the details. Have to say, ingame the effect is not that strong but it is still there. Most people don't seem to bother with recoloring, though.

Haven't touched the wolvie but seems to be meh. The Zeus is ok, you can go oldschool cheese with dual PPC/AC5 but using all hardpoints seems to be difficult; or I should say making a good build with all hardpoints used is.

Apparently I bought MC January 1st, 1:01 AM.

Didn't count. I guess those timezones took it away from me. At least I got 7 half priced Mechbays.
Can't say I care enough to enquire support about it.

Wait, is that hex pattern part of the actual mech? Not a paint job? I can't check myself until I get home.

exactly.

The armor pattern stays on the mech and camo get on top of it.

Just found out that the L zeus don't get the "free" faction camo from the resistance pack. That's sad because the wolvie got the hotrod camo from the phoenix pack.

That's funny because the 6R is my favorite out of the ones I own.

Thanks for the responses.

I didn't buy the reinforcement pack, so moot point for me. I didn't really see the point, as the Shadow Hawk was already a brilliant 55 tonner that could do everything I wanted a medium to do. I only got the Wolverines later for my IS account because they were on sale that one time, and I wanted to try out a mech I'd never used before.

Me too. Dual AC5's, a MPL, large engine, full jumpets and **** ton of ammo. In this day and age of Dakka as soon as people feeling fast multiple ballistic hits they try to run instead of fighting. I regularly get 500+ damage in mine,

Exactly, the dual AC/5s are hilarious, especially on chainfire, it's like a machine gun. It's brilliant for suppression. How can anyone try that and say it's the worst? :P

It would be nice if PGI is testing this new armor style to be the new Ferro Fibrous after balance. So it would work better/different than todays FF and we would have a visual reference of whom is using it :)

mine has a timber rattler effect with the colors I put on it. Looks cool. Need to dig out my XL 340 to run it though.

I KNEW IT! I knew the arm speed movement skill could make the wings flap fast enough to generate lift!
