I might be a bit dense in the late night, and eager to switch back to in-game so I didnt really search for answers on the site if any.
But I wonder why I cant apply the different is faction patterns (like the FRR viking one) on my Crabs and the other R2 mechs? Is my suspicion right if its only for the Resistance 1 pack and not Resistance 2?

Brought both the Wrath and Mauler editions. FYI

I think it is coming in a later patch. I'm pretty sure I heard that somewhere.

As for the when and why the delay? I don't know.

You CAN'T apply for free until October the 20th. You have to pay MC to use it before this date.

Typically you unlock the free faction patterns for a mech pack at the final release patch, presumably so that they have maximum time to get the skins done without interfering with other necessary prep work.

I'm not sure the reasoning. Does it have something to do with them wanting to be sure you don't cancel ... can you even cancel an order 3 mechs into the pack?

Or maybe it's just good ol' greed. You know a couple folks are probably dumb enough to buy it, instead of wait.

Honestly, I don't get it at all... They are all there, in the game, working... but you cant use them unlike R1.

Or the simple reason that they only want to do the injection 1 time per account which, from a technical stand point, is the smartest and safest thing to do.
