Because I seem to have two outstanding PMs to Tina, and both of them read as not yet read on her end. One for the IIC mechs when they were first announced, and one for the Loyalty mechs; about the Nova's missile arm.

This upsets me a little since Tina clearly went on the forum to post about the new champion mech requests, but didn't glance at the messages.

Fair enough, she's a busy lady. But, really? What's the point then? Am I supposed to ask support on things like this? Because that... that doesn't sound like part of their job; to hear proposals from players about possible changes to a mech design, or things along those lines.

If you head on over to the "Feature Suggestions" forums, you'll see no end of suggestions to the way MWO works. I really hate to break this to you, but your PM about mech design and things along those lines is probably just a few among HUNDREDS sitting in Tina's inbox. And I don't really blame her for putting those off in favor of meeting other deadlines her employers have set for her.

You might view that as poor customer service, but you've got to understand you're but one customer among A LOT.

there is a feature suggestion forum for a reason
http://mwomercs.com/...re-suggestions/

look in there
every man and his dog has an idea/suggestion/demand/request/prayer/hope/spout of mindless drivel/ for the game
imagine how much work would get done every idea was individually posted to devs personal inboxes
they would never do anything but answer emails/pm's
so whats the point of that, they would need to hire a whole new dev team just to work on the game and then another one to mediate the information from the old devs to the new devs

use the system, or just hope that your idea was good enough to catch the eye and not be deleted instantly
they are not being rude, they just dont have the time to deal with everyone at a 1 on 1 basis

I think it depends what you're asking them. I had replies from Tina and Dennis for the custom geo thing. But that was for something very specific that they'd already expressed interest in. I'm sure if I sent them a PM about most other subjects, like gameplay balance or mech packs, they wouldn't have time to answer.

The guys at PGI support are really helpful though, and usually answer pretty fast. In my experience, it's better to just talk to those guys. Tina and other prominent PGI staff members probably get a whole lot of unnecessary PMs just because they're MWO-celebrities. And frankly, it seems like PGI community managers are assigned to do a whole lot of stuff we don't know anything about, because they're rarely very active on the forums.

Tina does actually read and occasionally reply. The rest of them really don't, you are far better off trying to deal with them on twitter or sending a letter directly to their house maybe.
