I am probably late to this party but I think people should know. Look at sarna's Stalker 2 and compare it to the MWO Stalker.

Yes. Ever notice who the artist for the Stalker 2 is?

Also compare MWO's Locust to the 3145 mech called a Gun

Right arm is different but the rest?

Well if the MWO artist did both then I guess I look really stupid right now. But you would think they would be a little different in looks?

Good thing too, that Stalker looks like poop in comparison.

I was a little surprised, and don't know the circumstances.

The funny thing is... the Stalker isn't a reverse-joint mech.

The art for the original Stalker is done with an interesting vanishing point (as are all pictures of it).

Mechnically speaking though, the Stalker appears to be a much more stable walker as a reverse joint mech, which is likely why the reveresed the leg joints.

Making the Stalker have reverse-knee joints was probably the best artistic retcon that this game has made to date. The BT original art of the mech was atrocious garbage, as seen above.

Even MekTek made their MW4 Stalker have reverse-knees.

This only raises the question what would Alexander's Stalker 2 art look like?

Kind of reminds me of how the Centurion looks more like a Kheper than a Centurion.

There were a few other mechs that he's done this with too. I'm okay with it now, however if we ever get to that tech then we may have a problem. :P

I think I've seen that Stalker before. I think I had to defuse it's STD engine when it's torso was laying on the ground in the middle of Megaton. That town loved that mech, had a whole religion built around it too.
