The first few matches i was not sure if I liked this mech sy all. But now after about one day I am sure I love this mech. Great speed, great jump jets and a snazzy look. Sure it doesn't have a lot of armor or an arsenal of weapons but its fast and its ppc and medium lasers can finish the job. If you were one of the many who was rewarded the Cicada, good job!!!

I honestly love using my Raven 2x and now I have this lovely new Cicada to add to my collection. Its a medium but plays like a light. Puts the Spider to shame in my opinion. All hail the CDA-3F (L).

Right on. One of my top favs now. Right now I am trying to figure out what Heavy or Assault mech to purchase. I saved up about 15 mill c bills and want to try learning how to be a decent heavy or assault pilot. Any suggestions?

I did not buy this machine, but I still got it.
Not played 2 months. They handed out for free, or for any achievements?
And I can't sell it, this is normal?

It's reward for buying MC sometime since Jan 1st this year, and it's normal you can't sell it. Enjoy it for what it is, a reward mech.

And if you really don't want to use it, ever, just strip the equipment and use it elsewhere.

if you want a second option, the banshee 3e with 3 ac5 2 LL's and a sml (to force the LL's high.. don't actually use it) is a good starter as well, very tanky. i mostly play assaults, and have had every one in the game minus the Victor (and since the Zues does almost everything better i can't recommend it)

some will say a dire, but being left behind in 2/3rds of your matches and dying alone doesn't promote learning.

You should try a TAG instead of the small laser. It sucks up another half a ton but it lets LRMs rain down on your ECM covered enemies

No, I do not want to sell it, it's a good mech I just thought, if it can not sell, it is not owned and issued on time.
