The PTS gave a glimpse at the new parameters that can affect sensors. Why hasn't ECM been changed to utilize them?

ECM could embrace these new sensor quirks, instead of flat out negating all of their benefits to game play.

Ally mechs within 180m of an ECM carrier could have their radar sigs delayed from appearing on enemy radar for 3 to 6 seconds. This gives pilots a chance to fire upon a LRM carrier, but does not give them carte blanche to fire endlessly without fear of retaliation.

When an ECM carrier is within 240m of an enemy, their time to lock on could be affected, as well as the time for target info to display.

The first change would still allow ECM mechs and their allies to make flanking maneuvers without being detected, as long as dashing from cover to cover is utilized.

The second change would retain ECM's ability to hamper LRM carriers at short range

Both changes allow ECM to remain a LRM counter while still allowing the subtle info tech influences to remain.
