A suggestion for the Academy. Have a mode where Captain Adams is hunting you, and you are hunting him. Win, a cockpit item such as a statue of an Atlas and 1,500,000 C-Bills.

A 1v1 Tutorial Combat Situation, huh? I like it, so I'll SUPPORT having it. It should probably even be difficult enough that players won't beat it on the very first try. Captain Adams wasn't meant to be a pushover by any means. :D

However, I wouldn't quite agree on the Reward, albeit that I get where you're coming from. Like, the (C-Bills) are a good idea, and they should probably make it 2,000,000 (2 Million) of those. However, the "Standing Atlas Statue Cockpit Item" could cause a lot of people to disagree with this idea. Instead, PGI would be better off to give the "750 (MC) Value" of that item, and empower their player base to choose which Cockpit Item(s), or other hard-to-get In-Game Store Item(s) that they personally wish to have. Some players play their accounts like Lore-crazed nuts, and forcing an 'Inner Sphere'-specific Cockpit Item into their hands would definitely make them angry if they're running their account as a 'Pure Clan' setup. So, it's better to put the choice into the player's hands, particularly if they're first-time players.

I like your thought. We do need to get those "Anti-LRM Whiners" to shut up. At the same time Captain Adams should not have only just LRMs. We would want to make sure he's also got some bite when you're in close with an AutoCannon and some lasers too. Then PGI would finally see why their overkill-grade LRM nerfing was just ludicrous. :o
