My computer says it has the above video card installed. I have no idea what the specs are or if it is good enough to run MWO. I'd like to run the game on at least middle of the road settings.

Anyone give me a hand?

Its hard to give you any kind of advice since they say in the FAQ that the requirements for the game haven't been set yet.

A GT 220 does NOT meet the minimum requirement of an 8800 GT, the GT 220 is slower.

Since the game is using the Crytek engine, and I could be wrong by saying this, but if you can play any of the Crysis games (or Farcry 2) with no issues you should be okay.

That's the spec page

think diablo 3 and battlefield 3 had the same min requirements with video cards so if you can run them you should be able to.

OP, I just went through this exact thing. I had a GT520 with 2gig of ram, that I was golden. I discovered through some helpful people that the card needs an x on the end to be considered a gaming card.

I ordered a EVGA 550GTx for about a hundred bucks. Now, I can play every game I have on high with nary a twitch.

Time to upgrade, your gonna need to shell out some major moola , considering we all had to wait at least 10 years for the best Mechwarrior game , i would advise getting at least a GT670 to enjoy this game.

Anything less than the best is a crime against decency.

It really depends on your monitor's resolution. If you're not running 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 (or higher), a GTX670 is probably going to be a waste of money.

Here's a link to some framerates from Crysis2 with different monitor resolutions (another CryEngine3 game): http://www.tomshardw...iew,3200-6.html

Admittedly, that only includes the top-end cards right now, so if you're looking at other cards, see below, and check the individual reviews.

And here's where I'd start for the best buys per price range right now: http://www.tomshardw...eview,3107.html
