I know this discussion has been going around for a while, but i do not want to re-hash on old threads, so I am bringing the topic up again, with new vigor and 100% more colour and crunchy bits.

I have 2x CN9-AH(L) that i do not use and probably will never as i have no other centurions, and trying to level it up for speed tweek without more than 3x different variants is impossible. Same for the;
2xAS7-S(L), which is annoying as having on one of the variant can only level it up for basic.

Due to the large number of mechs i already have, these will only collect virtual cobwebs, and I would prefer if i could sell them, even if it means losing the mechbay they came with.

As for Armor: I have notice that when i change from Standard armor to FF-Arm, i have over 1M tons of Standard armor I would like to sell. But cannot. I can sell JJ, heatsinks, engines, modules, a rock of coal, but to my annoyance (like kicking ones toe on the side of the table leg) I cannot sell standard the armor.

Now all I want to know is why I can't sell them? I have already explained why I do not want these mechs and standard armour? is there a reason why we can't sell them? Please enlighten me.

Will there ever be a chance for us to sell these items in the future????

I emailed them when I had duplicates thinking it was a mistake and that they had given me two in error. When they replied that it was intentional, they also offered to remove the duplicate mech and I agreed. Dont need IS clutter.

Meh, I find the amount of C-bills that you get for selling 'mechs to be absolutely paltry (I've never sold a 'mech, even the terrible ones, hey, some day it might be useful), and if the 'mech was free in the first place, I'd keep it around as a spare for convenience.

But YMMV.

Only things I've ever sold are engines, and even then only when I have more than 2 spare in inventory. I keep at least 2 because you never know when you might need one for some new Mech.

I'd never sell a Mech... you just never know when PGI might quirk 'em and suddenly they're Top Tier and some British blokes make a TV show about them.

I haven't even sold the 400-odd single heat sinks I've collected over the years...

Well I'm all in agreement that selling [L] mechs would be nice I think the idea is that really there more of a trophy. Kind of a " lived through 2014 and all I got was this lousy mech". I also think that until the rebalance( if it ever happens) might make a few mechs playable again so until then i have no issues keeping them. Plus I like the camo on them and Hope that one day we will have mech hangers that we can put mechs on view with.

You want them gone? Get Support to remove them. Then both the 'Mech and the Bay disappear.

But you'll never be able to get anything for them, as they were free rewards.

As to the armor, maybe someday we'll be able to sell it...

Same here, really need to make C-Bills so it should be an option to sell, i mean, i know they are gifts, but even unwanted gifts in real life can be sold. I've put many a $ into this game, bought packages, play tournis, and team killed a random idiot on team. It should be permitted to sell. I've earnt these loyalty gifts, i should sell these loyalty gifts with a satisfaction knowing they have been put forward for a better cause and turned into scrap.

What say you all?

Let us sell the mechs, we already stripped them of equipment anyways. An extra 10 million cbills for some of your players isn't going to break the game. It's not like there's an economy.

The problem is probably that free mechbay we got. It's something they make real money off of and they'd probably have to delete it manually on each account since there's no way for us to get rid of them.

Most people who actually think only sell mechs to free up mech bays for more mechs as the chassis are not worth crud in C-Bills...
