If damage is spread evenly because all players worked well together, then that damage will be in the 300-450 range because you will have won before anyone gets more than that. But that can still represent much better play for all these players than their "carry" matches do.
Just look at the scoreboards for competitive matches where all players are top notch, the damage for the winning team is generally 300-500 with a pretty even spread, and those are the best players in the game.
In other words individual matchscore must be measured relative to the team average, since you'll be capped somewhere simlply by having good teammates taking their share of the cake.
