That being said, EA is evil and should die a slow and painfully bankrupt death.
However, even though EA killed Warhammer Online, it has been resurrected and shall LIVE ON!

Battlefront sucked!
Though, being EA, I did not expect much.
The gameplay was dumbed down. The graphics were amazing. The gameplay was dumbed down. The gameplay was dumbed down.
Lack of map
Lack of selectable spawns
Lack of vehicles on map to run to
Lack of bases
Lack of clear battle line
Abundance of enemies spawning behind you
Lack of classes
I could go on.
If you are going to pick a battlefield product for a game mode to model, pick Battlefield 1942 and its ticket style, multiple spawn/base capture/control gameplay. This is the same model that Mechwarrior Living Legends uses--and it is great.
Battlefront sucked. I'm taking the money I was going to spend on it and buy the next season of Elite Dangerous instead.

On a mechanical level it could use some polishing, but it's a beta so I'm hopeful for that. The different game modes idea would be awesome in MWO, but PGI is a small team and honestly I'm not sure how many different scenarios you can have for giant stompy death robots. I'd love a genuine obective-based scenario in a full-on metropolitan city area, but the current mechanics probably wouldn't make it feasible (would need crouching, proper jumping, maybe hand to hand). Ah well, maybe in the future PSR changes ahoy and all that.

I havent bought any games from EA since the last 10 years i believe. Atleast yeaaaaars go.
They have became a terrible publisher. They royalled screwed multiple franchises over.
All they see is MONEY & ORIGIN (piece of utter spyware)
Yep. It's surprising more people don't see it. They just look at what sequels a huge amount of people are anticipating and make it as a slapped on together casual game that isn't even a real sequel. Just make some trailers showing off flashy graphics and sell that name. Oh everyone is begging for a BF2 sequel? Here, BF3 and we will falsely advertise it as a "true sequel" but it's actually just CoD with vehicles. Everyone is begging for a new BattleFront? repeat... (looks like they don't even need to false market this one though to be successful)
Luckily for me EA made it easy for me to not care at all. Not even tempted a bit to play there casual money grabbing titles.

They are bad but they have been getting better imo. They used to be the evil shitlord publisher but now they come in third, behind Ubisoft and Activision.
