The new reticle just doesn't cut it for me. I can't tell when I'm hitting as well as the old system. That said, I understand it's probably better for color blind folks and I have a suggestion to sort of split the difference. Keep the new geometry change, but allow players to select a color for that UI element from an RGB slider. Current players get a color change and geometry feedback and color blind users get to find a color/ geometry change that works for them.

The changes to infotech are interesting and definitely push builds in a new set of directions. FLD weapons get the biggest boost as they are unaffected by early laser falloff. NARC is a far more powerful tool now as mixed loadouts are a better option, no one is running AMS on the PTS yet, but I suspect they will, soon. TTK isn't greatly affected at this point, but the jockey to get targeting data has made for more fast maneuver encounters and brawls; which may be why TTK seems so similar.

The range falloff still seems a bit wonky to me, as a mechanic its not clear, and falls into the trap of heat scale as being opaque. I know the intent is to reduce laser vomit snap fire at range, but it does so in a way that doesn't seem natural. The fluctuating ranges also a bit of an issue. a steeper falloff after optimum might be a better solution (1.6x max range versus 2). I'll leave that to the telemetrics and engineers to figure out though.

I had on interesting bug. A jenner that was killed in a match was running seismic. When he dies his radar continued to show the seismic position of enemy units for his entire radar range. You can see it here http://www.twitch.tv...st86/v/20750593 at 26:40 in.
