Pgi, I have zero complaints about the new system.
As a cb pilot and always remaining active even when times were dim.

All I want to say is Thank you so much.
I love it. No more mode selection. It's voted on. I don't know why I'm in Tier 1, but it's lonely up here never finding matches.

I love the quick rotation. please don't make it longer. people should be awake and aware when they're playing, if they're not ready, they won't be for the actual fight.

I love the action videos to hype me up as I get into the match. It's relishing to watch.

Thank you. This patch is truly one of your first in a very long time that is simply flawless. I haven't felt this giddy and upbeat in vigour in over 4 years in MWO!

I found out the queue time had decreased noticeably, so I am definitely ok with the voting system. At least until Steam launches.

That's not necessarily a bad thing, considering the low pop. I personally wanted 8v8 back, to help the issue.

You don't tell PGI they've done something "Best ever in history of the game" when 90% of other players are not happy with it..

Then they listen to the 10% of the happy players and decide to keep it.

You know PGI has "selective reading" when it comes to criticism and praise... somehow they always skip the criticism and jump straight up to praise

You don't tell them "Best thing evaaaah", you play it cool.. just say something like "That'l do fish.. that'l do"..

I like the faster MM as well. If anything, I think telemetry from the map and mode voting will reinforce what people like and don't like about this game, and hopefully PGI will make improvements to address those concerns.

Mileage may vary for some obviously. I never had an issue with the old system or the wait time and the new one is no different. You still get derpy teammates just as much. Sometimes more bad players are on. I've had days where I lose for 3 hours straight but I do well in the matches. Nothing you can do about it, regardless of MM changes. At least now I have a slight heads up to what I will drop into as opposed to being blindfolded in MM.

I'm not sure what happened. I was at one time a pretty regular player. At times annoyed with the same crappy map or same lame teammates, but for the most part I was having fun and feeling I could compete and contribute to the team. Then the new MM came , I tried it, 1st night maybe 10 straight loses on 10 weak teams, the enemy would have 2 dires, a warhawk and a battlemaster while my team had an atlas, a missile stalker, a trail mech banshee and a timberwolf as assualt lances, very balanced every freaking game /s. Fine no prob it'll take a little tweaking. Not sure how long it's been, but since the new MM system came out. It's groundhog day over and over and over......but only this time with 2 maps either the swamp map or twilight river city.......the only two maps I've played in the last how long, has it been a month? Feels like it's been a year. At any rate, since the new MM came out, my fun level has been lowered by 90% just due to bad matchs and 2 crappy maps played over and over and over. I really like the game, like a lot of the things they've done with it. It's just seems for me somethings busted I get the same match ups, same maps every time I log into to play. It doesn't matter what mechs I bring, same (type) teams, either under gunned or straight up out classed and two crappy maps you can't see a damn thing on till it's in your face. Maybe reinstalling would fix that?

I'm definitely a big fan. I liked it the first time around, and I like it now. I will take faster matches with less skill gap over solid game mode choices any day.

Hopefully sarcasm, what with the in the post, but the forums don't exactly represent 90% of the players. The people who really like the game are busy playing, and don't bother with the forums.

I expect to hear some stats in the near future from PGI as to MM search times and skill gaps. I expect this system will help a lot.
