I'd really like to get rid of the squares. The only things that will ever be mounted on those hardpoints are round lenses or PPC barrels ... why must we have giant squares and a square right arm? They look terrible.

very true but wash your car drive 30miles and see how clean it is. Is doesn't feel authentic to have a mech in the field that's 'box fresh' doesn't have to be an old beater but dust attaches to grease, rain, coolant spills, mud, sun fade, scuffing etc

Well... to be fair... your car doesn't get serviced by staff dedicated to maintaining just it every time you take it for a drive, either

Though, I wholly agree... I like my Founder's Mechs because they look like they've been through hell... A few mechs I really appreciate how "clean" they are, like my Yen Lo Wang. But that's a special mech. I love Misery, because it looks like something that crawled out of the depths. And I quite like the Resistance mech looks too.

I'm assuming he couldn't round up Bombadil or anyone else today to be his punching bag Also, all of the ® variants from Resistance 2 have full pattern support. They will eventually go back and do that with all mechs (YAY).
