sorry about any spelling and grammar mistakes ahead

so i had an idea for a retreive information game mode where a lance of four light mechs would
be dropped behind enemy lines and would have to observe a base of some sort for a set duration (basicly just be in line of sight of said base) then they would have to get to a extraction point.

the other team would have to pervent these mechs from either ever getting to the base or getting to the extraction point or completing the scan of the base this would be a four mechs against anywhere from six to ten mechs (depending on balance) game mode. it would last 15-20 minute (once again depending on balance and the set time of the scan). win conditions would be for
the scanning light mechs to have at least one light mech make it to the extraction point and get
the hell out. and win conditions for the defending team would be to kill all enemy players or the time runs out (reinforcements come and kill the drop ship at the extraction point).

this game mode would be for CW and regular group que but the advantage of doing it in CW
would be the next people to drop in the regular twelve man attack que would have some sort of advantage (chosen by pgi from a list of some sort) in their attack.

we could use existing maps say like alpine peaks and others that could be slightly modified.

Isn't that what the soon-to-come phase 3 scouting missions are all about?
