They said "laser" PPCs are not lasers, so I think PPCs ranges remain the same. Do I miss something?

um thats what ER PPCs and ER large lasers are for

the ER is for extended range.

IS ER Large Laser range is supposed to be 570M, but PGI increased it to 675M
IS ER PPC range is supposed to be 690M but PGI increased it to 810M

PPC range is 540M. PGI never increased its range from regular Battletech ranges, plus it has a minimum range where it does no damage. AC/2, AC/5, UAC/5, and Gauss Rifle have minimum ranges in BT as well, but not in MWO.
Large Laser range is 450M. PGI never increased its range either

Notice the issues?

Since Large Laser loses it's range due to the system in PTS, it's already lacking range is further hurt.

I mentioned PPCs too because it needs to be mentioned.

And sorry, I only use old tech, so I can't use ER weapons. This account is modeled after what garrison units truly faced against the Clan invasion. Even in 3050, armies were still slowly gearing up with newer tech, then they got sent to conquer the Clan home worlds.

i only use erppcs. ppcs have always felt totally weak even since late 2012

on the matter of min and max range in BT-TT, it would probley be a good idea to some point in MWO. That would be one way of making people build for diverse load outs, instead of just packing all LL. I still see some people firing off PPC's and LRM's at Point blank range also. so maybe it's not a good idea either..
