Greetings Mechwarriors.
While away from my battlemechs I produce music and thought some of you might be interested.

I reworked a lot of the mechwarrior 2 soundtrack melodies into this track as well as some of the sound clips from the games. I usually don't post my music but I worked over 100 hours on this track for a duration of 4 months and I feel a lot of you mechwarrior online fans will enjoy it.
Thanks for listening. I'll see you on the battlefield.

Personally I find the use of sound clips excessive, I'd rather have the trance-remix of the great original carry the song. Instead I hardly recognize it, my first point of recognition coming at the 2:50 mark. For me the song truly comes into its own at 6:35, from here on I find it a good inspiration of the original. Recognizable, but with its very own distinctive sound.

I appreciate your criticism. You're right about how I wanted the music to inspire the rest of the track, It was never really meant as a remix of any particular mechwarrior 2 song. Consider it more of a nod to some of the melodies reworked into a newer condensed version in a different genre. I had to take some liberties with some of the melodies to make them fit. As for the sound clips being used too much (It's actually a big no-no in Goa Trance to have an excessive amount of sounds the way I used them).... yeah.... I knew this releasing it, but I wanted the 'bitchin betty' to aid in the intensity of the song to almost kind of give the song's energy a story. At least that was what I was intending to do.
