TLDR:
  • Health increase for equipment is nice, no longer will items be 1shot by PPCs. But it also means that almost nothing will get destroyed before the section gets blown out completely. Must test some MGs later.
  • Heat sink changes are good. Buffs for IS singles/doubles as well as giving the clans less cap and more dissipation for (hopefully) less alpha and more DPS.
  • The 40% max range reduction on the IS ERLL and Clan Lasers is nice and helps bring them in line.
  • The 60% of effective range when you are not locked on/aiming at your target is super weird and bad.
  • Changes to ECM are very interesting, should've been more along those lines from the start. Would like to see it block information as well, similar to this image from Spiralface's post.
  • Sensor range stuff is ok, but would rather it be flipped around and be a detection range thing. Explained better in my What I Would Change: Information Warfare.
  • Target information sharing is really hard to tell if its working as people just death ball. Will need to see ranges on the mini-map in order to test correctly.
  • Hit marker should always show up, not only when you have the target locked. Add in a setting to revert it to color change to red on a hit.
