Yesterday, which was Sunday if anyone dares to give a (bleep), I was cleaning the garage to some extent in preparation for cold weather. That is to say I want to put the car in there so I won't have to deal with an iced up windshield. I had put on a pair of plastic disposable gloves to keep from getting oil and such all over my hands. While moving a cardboard box, a Brown Recluse jumped up from the side of the box and attacked by hand. The spider was not that big however it was extremely aggressive. I believe that the gloves helped protect my hand to some extent. Thankfully I had them on. It would have sucked to have to have had to have my finger amputated from one of those things. That would have made playing MWO a lot harder (lol).
So if you are doing any cleaning, just be careful. I had no idea that those spiders were aggressive. Most spiders that I have encountered will try to hide, and get away from humans. Not this one.

I hope you showed that spider who's the boss! Or did the spider show you who's the boss?

.. terrifying.. I do not have to say another word..
If the spider was removed without incident, I hope that he left it. If the spider had been victorious, I would wish the best for their swift recovery, and hope that there was someone close by to assist in a swift transport to the nearest hospital, and hope that hospital has some anti-venom.

That encounter was to close for comfort. I am fine, as thankfully I had gloves on. The Spider, well, it's somewhere in the flowerbed.

I hate spiders. I have no problem killing them indiscriminately. But in Michigan we have Black widows and recluses. I have actually been bitten by a Recluse before but was lucky to get aid before it was serious.
They can all die off for all I care.
They can all die off for all I care.
But who will get rid of those annoying flies then?

Now I don't know if this is true or not, but I've heard that you can only take the anti venom for a Black Widow's bite once. I do know that a single Black Widow can have thousands of baby spiders. Gives me the creepy crawlies just thinking about it.
