Is Lpl And Erll Max Range Reduction?!

That's haven't been anounced in PTS session details.... This makes Raven-3L and other long range snipers useless as i can't make damage from 2ERLL at 1200 meters even using range module lvl5.faceplam. going to clan-SRM meta back. ERPPC with current small projectile speed will not replace ERLL. This will remove long range gameplay at all from the game. Only some dual gauss builds will alive. I want to here official comment on this change and wtf it happened at all.

Hrm. Now I feel the need to go through all the equipment lists in the PTS and check for other hidden changes.

This would certainly explain why my TDR-9SE in the PTS was doing such a small amount of damage past optimal range. I thought it was just Clan lasers getting their max range clipped.

That should be a bug. If it's not a UI bug the 40% range reduction past optimal range should only be for Clans that was elaborated on by Paul. If all IS lasers are performing like that then this throws off a lot of numbers drastically.

Yes this looks like a bug and was not intended.

It fits my experience, I dropped in the TDR-9SE a couple times and it felt like I was doing virtually 0 damage when firing beyond 400m. As in, play a full match (surviving) and do under 200 dmg when it felt like I was as active as I normally am.

There were a few times I noticed I wasn't hitting at all during long range shots that should have been doing some damage.

Losing quirks, the optimum range reduction if not locked on target, and a buggy max range really forces you in close lol :D
