I started out in T4, immediately got pounded down to T5, slowly worked my way back up to about 25%-30% up T3, and then in November/December '16 something changed with MM and suddenly it was ROFLstomp after ROFLstomp. Now I'm back at mid-T4 almost where I started nearly 2 years ago.

Doesn't exactly scream "give PGI money!" to me. At this point I'm just struggling to maintain enough enthusiasm to keep logging in.

Just looking at the few months, your K/D % and match score overall, but is severely lacking in both heavies and assaults. This month out of 15 games you have killed only 2 mechs but have died 13 out of 15 matches while piloting an Assault. Heavies, out of 25 matches killed 9 mechs and died 18 times.

Overall, 62 matches you have killed 18 but have died 43 times, but with a 32-30 W/L and an average 174 match score.

So on a lost your PSR is definitely dropping, on a win it is barely moving up. As noted for another, you are 1/12 of a team. The Leadership board is missing KMDD to reflect the mechs that had died but with which player is doing the most damage. FP has it, not sure why QP doesn't.

But not everyone wants to keep up with the Jones'. The important part though, are you having fun? If not always look into what you can improve about yourself first, your mechs, , tactics, system setup then set goals. Just remember damage is the biggest part of the match score. You can have an influence on your teammates via communication but ultimately tis what can you bring to the table first. Even playing as a wingman to another has a multiplier effect to it.

PGI did never officially state this - we know only for sure Tier 1 Players never will meet Tier 4 and 5.
Did PGI say anything different officially meanwhile?

I am not so sure about this. I was in a match just about an hour ago where one of the players on my team said they were Tier 4. Considering I am Tier 1, unless he way lying, it seems I got matched with Tier 4.

Done all I can do in those regards and as I stated, I'm struggling to find enough enthusiasm to log in. Often as not these days, I log in, play around in the 'mechlab and testing grounds for a bit and log out. Doesn't help that I've run out of funds after only re-skilling either 7 or 8 'mechs out of over 20 'mechs I'd had mastered before the ST dropped. Wish I'd picked the 'mechs to re-skill based on the "desert island" principle, instead of just starting to re-skill my 'mechs rather randomly, as I have 1 med., 2 heavies, and 4 assaults re-skilled IIRC. No lights as I don't own any light 'mechs because I can't play them at ~14-20 FPS average in-game, often lower when there's many 'mechs moving close by. Guess I shouldn't have blindly trusted that I'd have enough of everything needed to re-skill all my previously-mastered 'mechs. Posted Image

But my stats suck, so nothing I say is of any value.

First, if you had mechs mastered, ie got the extra module slot, each mech would have had 91SP already, which is the max active nodes you can have. And if you had purchased modules prior to Dec 2016 and had not sold them then they would have been converted to GSP (general skill points).

The points on the left. The 273 indicates 3 of the same variant mastered, 91 each. Just wanted to make sure we were on the same page. Though there have been players who opps and put way too many HSP or GSP into a mech.
Spoiler

What is your system specs? And what game setting are you using? A low end system, or one not optimized and running with a low FPS bites, definitely.

And what mechs do you have and how are they equipped?

I don't care to go into a wall of text listing all my 'mechs, equipment, etc. All that alphabet-soup HSP/GXP/HXP/SP/CB/MC/WTFBBQ, that has exactly F-all to do with shooting red guys, just makes me want to log out and find something else to do. TBH at this point I'm just treading water with MWO and playing the few 'mechs I've re-skilled until either PGI improves things or I find another game.

PC is what I could afford to build, Gigabyte AM1M mobo, AMD Athlon 5350 quad-core, 8GB RAM, GT 730 2GB GPU I run minimal video settings in game, even screen resolution is set at 1280x768.
