Title says all, I think the new changes are amazing for the game. Had alot of fun on PTS and I think the ecm/laser targeting system/clan range should go live immediately and then that will tide us over for the infotech patch, only changes I would make is make small lasers have 80% of there range on a untargeted mech, and give ecm a 5 second delay ( 3 seconds is a little too small IMO ).

GO AHEAD AND PATCH IT PGI, MAKE PPC/BALLISTICS MORE VIABLE, STOP THE END ALL BE ALL LASERPUKE, AND DECREASE TTK. ITS WHAT WE WANT!

You wouldn't be able to tell that 3 seconds is too small because currently, that aspect doesn't seem to be working at the moment on PTS.

All you need to get lock is to get into range on PTS, ECM doesn't hamper anything right now beyond missile lock times (which it does on live server as well.

And I strongly disagree with the OP's thoughts on this matter.

Full balance testing cannot be achieved because all the info-warfare systems, such as various lock/targeting delays are not yet implemented, so it is premature to say we're "ready to go." Nevermind the absurdity of "ghost damage" on lasers...

I actually agree that you can't give a go ahead on small parts of the balance pass when so much are missing.

Reactionary post, but definitely an indicator of how fed up people (including myself) are with the laser vomit PP game.
