...... but selecting colors is pretty annoying.

-No idea which colors I have unlocked. Found it.
-A simple "click" is not enough to select the color.

Looks pretty, but clunky to use.

EDIT: I do like how the system automatically switches to the next color once you select one tho.

Is there a way to remove the colors you don't have?
It's pretty annoying searching for "the dark red you got" in the middle of a dozen others.

Top of the screen there is some filtering options.
Took me a while to find it as well cause blind.

Solution: unlock all colours :P

Speaking of which, we haven't had a colour sale recently.

They should just offer a 1 time "unlock all colours" option for an unreasonable price

Yeah, but if you click "owned" you just make the colors you don't have darker... which is not very useful if you are searching for a dark color.
Or did i miss something?

1 step forward, 1 step back.

Color selection could have been simplified, worked just fine as it was before.

The honeycomb layout is what kills it for me, its just too cluttered looking, and what used to be a quick "Oh here is the color I was looking for, BAM done." is now like a Where is Waldo hunt to find my colors..

Well.. you can't select a color you dont own if you chose "owned" option.... so there's that....

would of been better to flat out remove the color but w/e.

Indeed, and an "unlock all patterns for this mech" as well as an "unlock all patterns for all mechs you'll ever own".

The new cammo screen needs to completely grey out colors the player does not own when the filter is applied.

It is dizzying trying to make out the few colors I own from a hex grid that is
- not sorted by hue and saturation,
- only Slightly darker versions of the ones I do not own.

I recommend organizing colors from Left to Right by Hue (Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet)
and from Top to Bottom (De-saturated, saturated)

Also posted this in the patch feedback, but I suspect it's overshadowed

Also gotta mention how much I dislike having faction colors split up everywhere across the board.

I really like the new camo screen, but yes it needs some tweak's here and there ie owned colours aren't easily identifiable from the ones you don't own, even using the filter.
Other than that GJ PGI.

The Camo select is ok and looks good
The colour pallet, well, like others said is not so good.

Finding a group of colours you own, even with "owned" selected like PC Gamer Colours is difficult at best.
The old colour selection was better imo

EDIT: I do like how the system automatically switches to the next color once you select one tho.

It's much less clunkier than what we had before, even if we do have to double click, it's a lot less clicks than before. Hovering over a colour automatically shows you the colour on the mech where before you had to click each one... and not to mention scrolling back and forth lol.
A double click is still 12 less clicks than i had to do when I was scanning for a colour to choose.

I don't see the issue many players are having aside from the owned colours having all the other colours on the map and the need to double click as opposed to just clicking once...

The colour map is perfect to use to see how the changes in colour affect the mech - before you had select colours on a bar that was just clunky and time consuming, now you can see the full spectrum and it changes automatically. Same for the camo, rather than have to click to preview, you just mouse over and click. Intuitive.

Just need to fix the double click and the unnecessary colours on the owned screen.

Solution for PGI - Add a selector that allows you to select faction colours only so you have a small map for each faction with the three colours grouped up. As there are only three colours can have all factions on one screen.

Alternatively, highlight faction colours and/or premium colours using say, a star in the hex, or a (colour blind friendly) coloured border.. etc etc.

Yeah. Typical bloody PGI, no idea of how to design user interfaces.

The new hex grid is much better than before, but requiring a double click to select colours is really stupid. What does single click even do on this screen?

Locked colours should have a lock symbol over them instead of being "greyed out", because they're colours and changing the colour of a colour to signify that you don't have it is REALLY DUMB.

You almost had it PGI but you had to screw it all up in the end anyway

Wow, I just noticed that not only do you need to double click to select a color for a channel, but that then automatically changes the color channel to the next one. Talk about unintuitive
