...and here is where everything falls apart. This is a 12v12 game. We are not going to have asymmetrical team sizes.

Maybe you are willing to take inferior mechs that earn less Cbills so your teammates can carry the game for you, but not everyone wants to play that way.

who says that it is a 12 vs 12 game? Its not mandatory; it already IS often asymmetrical because of DC or total beginners that blow up their nova of the first time they press a button...

I am smiling at your inferior mech remark since lights are ALREADY massively discriminated against c-bill wise. And again you are arguing on the wrong layer its not mechs: ITS TEAMS that have to be equal. You will always find someone in a pretty average or below average built to cram into the queue filling up the missing points....

PGI start listening your player base and pay attention to what people actually playing the game are saying. We are repeating ourselves over and over on the forums for the last 2 years and nobody pays any attention. You are doing all your 'great' changes and after you are running to correct them by making even bigger mistakes. I am sure the latest change with the tonnage value came as a shock to you because you never thought that the players will go around your system and break it...again.

The new tonnage system is simply broken and produces even more inbalance than the previous. If the evil plan was to break the group queue to push the population of CW then I am sorry you failed miserably because players are turning to the solo queue to continue the grind.Return to the 3/3/3/3 for starters and in the mean time work towards another system including fixing the PSR..Read the forums, the player base has ideas eg BV and stop experimenting.

so its extremely easy for them to say:

ok the lesser point side gets to ease the MM one or two people more and/or the higher point side is missing one mech to equalize both teams...

I just have to cite it:

"shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached,"
