I actually got my RL friends to play mechwarrior again for the first time in 2 years. The new tonnage system allows you to easily invite 1-3 friends and have a great time in the group que. Finally we can put up a fight against these larger groups.

Thankyou Russ, thankyou PGI. This is exactly what we needed to get newer players into the game. We can drop with a nice tonnage advantage and get more people playing this game!

Also, having alot of fun with the endless possibilities in a larger group as well. Dropping in nothing but centurions can be alot of fun!

Also, if you go against alot of arctic cheetos, bring streaks! Going against alot of stormcrows? aim for the legs! They are not impossible to deal with.
