Looking For A New Jump Sniper What Should I Choose ?

Handles like a medium. Has a deadside. If a 30-damage alpha cap gets implemented, Summoners should be a lot better off.
Spiders are fun and i guess the D has come back into fashion but, like the Summoner, is a bit under-gunned.
I think Panthers are also a jump sniper with PPCs but that may have changed.
Quickdraws might offer lazor sniping as well.

Yeah, I'd agree. This'll probably be why I'll keep running my VND-1AA, despite the lack of ECM. With the -25% heat quirks it's OK even with just the ten internal "trudubs". My PXH-1B will likely get a "Shadow Hawk Lite" loadout with just a single ERPPC on the shoulder, and MPL's in the arms.

The 4X variant Raven is jump capable and can pack a pair of energy weapons in one arm.
Then there's the Lord of the Battlefield, the mighty UrbanMech. I'm entirely serious.

BJ-3. Yeah. Probably best answer.

Other choices are : Panther-10K (2 PPCs)(a big fat since the rescale, but still OK), Vindicator-1AA (2PPCs + MLas), Nova (2 ERPPCs), Summoner (gauss+ERPPC or 2 ERPPCs), Timberwolf (gauss+2ERPPCs). And Mist-Lynx (ERPPC) if you're not afraid. And cataphract-3D (gauss+2PPCs or 2PPCs+2AC/5) if you're still in 2013.
PS: I tested the Phoenix-Hawk and it's surprisingly cooler than I though...

I know you said jump sniper I have to put a plug in here for the Battlemasters, all the same. They have high energy mounts and can be fairly agile. They can make idea PPC snipers, in the right hands.

SHC can run two ERPPCs. It's stupid hot but really fun.

The high mounted ERPPCs + Max JJ make for a solid jump sniper and it's fairly fast to boot.

as for the IS, the Panther can do it fairly well still, the BJ-3, the Shadow hawk, the Vindy, CDA-3f, QKD, CTF-3d, GHR(*kinda)

Has anyone messed around with this (I have one but just theorycrafting here; I'll have to try it in combat)? I think the Marauder coming with clantech is going to be very impressive

I want a highly mobile and fast jump sniper Using erll or erppc. looking for something that gives me a different feel that just staying on the ground.
My favorite mech by far used to be the Cicada-3C (oddball / darksheep mech but to me a great erppc skirmisher). But now i have found my "new love": the Viper VPR-B for its great erppc velocity quirks, highmounts for energy weapons, really great speed and jump-capability. At first i used a single erppc, but soon i was looking for more punch so i created my dual erppc viper. Stripped armor in favor of the second erppc.
Read here for a more extensive description of the build and how i try to play it: http://mwomercs.com/...ost__p__5314673

I would second that. I've been using 2xERLL and 2XMLs but might move back to PPCs if it's worth it. Are PPCs sufficiently fixed to pick over ERLLs now?
