I have been able to pull off 700 to 900 match damage almost consistently with this build.

RVN-4X

I call it the "Glass Cannon." which is a reference to my old Eve Online days.

It is squishy but has enough speed to stay out of trouble until everyone else on the team dies or until getting swarmed by lights.

So far, this has been my only solid answer to the ACH. Not as much quantity of wubs but the wubs it has have a MEAN alpha :)

With the 30% range and 30% laser duration bonus, this thing ROCKS dual large pulses.

Anyone else tried this build?

2-LPL raven's been around for ages, lol. It's also a very, very effective build.

....That being said, I miss the old RVN-2X's quirks. It had even better laser quirks than the current 4X. If you thought 501m optimal range was god tier, you would have been drooling over the old RVN-2X's 650m optimal range, as well as 25% heat reduction and some burn time reduction.

Great build, used even in high level comp, with one exception: You need a JJ badly (and up-armor those legs...never strip armor on a light's legs). The duration is so short, you can actually pop-shoot with those LPLs. Without a JJ, you're really hurting your flexibility.

Definitely prefer the metamechs build (trading the DHS for one JJ and armor). I was using it myself for a while before I found it on the website. That mech is a blast, and with radar derp module it's reasonably sneaky as well. Note the 4X has 2 mech modules base, plus the mastery weapon/mech module slot. So you can run seismic, radar deprivation, and advanced zoom for sniping. I wasn't using that extra slot for an embarrassing amount of time. I have no idea how long it's had the extra slot.

Yep, 4X is fun, did this a few minutes ago. Wasn't vs. a 12-man, but does well there too.

FYI "glass cannon" is a very common term in many games :)

Hurricane with 720's is a fun glass cannon. Oops, wrong game.
