Average 160 damage wattttttttttt????

Last few games were like less than 50 damage especially when an assault sneezes on you.

Why would I play a Flea over a Piranha?

Super duper ultra mega slippery. Basically much lower firepower in exchange for staying alive much longer due to crazyballs agility and a more compact body hitbox plus some armor quirks.

Can't really tell yet until I get the Flea maxed out. Different playstyle though.

You are probably right. I think would work best if pilot has good ping and fps.

Ah yes, fond memories of grinding all six to 91/91 back in June and July.

No, wait, what's the opposite of fond?

Lolcuts and fleas are twins separated at birth with one getting masc and the other gets a cooler name for its hero.

Only did the -17 and -20 so far but I think they were the easiest mechs I've ever leveled. For any other mech I'll usually just throw GXP at it and get it over with.

Cause from all the people I talk too who run lights say it's VERY good.

Problem is you need to know how to pilot a light or you're gonna have a bad time.

I can't play these mechs with anything else than ML. ERSL not enough range.

Yeah really. Pugs can't hit for crap when they try to trade against the poke-Flea.

The mech is still better used in FP though.

I recommend you also to try fle-20. It has unique gameplay abilities due ultra mobility and ECM protection. I found its extremly fun to play - if you can say that commando is diehard because of tanking damage, then flea is diehard because of dodging and hiding.

Because a Flea dumps all over the MG Piranhas and is more survivable than the energy ones against everything else.

It's a more versatile all-around package, IMHO, especially in QP.

Do your FP fleas run XL or Light engines?

So far my unskilled fleas are getting crapped on by everything. Unskilled Pir not so bad.

You run XL or Light on your fleas?

XL 170 on every single one of my Fleas.

Strongest, IMHO, is the 17 with 2x MPL and 5x SL (don't do ERSL until skilled for heat, but you will probably find SL range more than adequate and value its lower heat and faster cooldown more than the +50 range on ERs).

The FLE with 7x SPL is also quite potent, but requires a LOT of armor stripping and relies on evasion and flat-out killing the target before he can do meaningful damage. It's a hands-down better duelist than the MPL+SL, but the MPL+SL is more reliable in a larger variety of situations, a sort of budget Wolfhound.

2mpl 5sml is spitting out like 10dps until you overheat. One legs most of the other 20 tonners with 1-2 alphas. GREAT at drivebys.

I use the 20 in FP on conquest. 1 mpl, 4sml with stealth armor for shenanigans.

Alright thanks guys. MPG told me the same ingame. Was just wondering how to fit it without XL...

Just seem so risky.

Did you guys do XL before completing survival tree?

Always max XL engine. Speed tweak first.

You can do all sorts of nutty **** with masc. I like playing in Solaris a lot. It's a blast.
