SHD-5S. Shadowhawk or WVR-7M Wolverine.

The latter has the looks and Wolverines of one stripe or another have long been my mech of personal choice for over 25 years of fandom of the TT game. The Shadowhawk variant with all the fancy electronics interests me a great deal, and if it could be in the game, it almost certainly would be my ride.

For a mech I owned, a Shadowhawk in the fictions has fully articulate hands, so could also be useful in home maintenance and landscaping!

This right here. No other mech says Mechwarrior to me more than the Vulture. The sweeping front, the cockpit style, the missile rack placement; oh god I want the clan invasion to get here! Piloting one irl would be simply awesome!

I've always been partial to Timber Wolf, but I also really like Arctic Wolf and Hellhound. Of course, with the new redesigns, I'd really like the Centurion and Hunchback.

For me in BattleTech RL would either have to be an Archer or a good 'ole Phoenix Hawk.
But for RL RL. It would be some form of powered battle armor. Far easier to pass it off as "home made" and rock up to comic cons/Armagerddon Expos/Halloween/fancy dress partys to in!
