I think it looks pretty sweet.
I might even say... I kind of like it more than the MW:O's version. Ours looks too... modern and rounded, almost clan-like, when this is chunky and jagged, like the older MW:O IS mechs. The giant AC5 looks better too.

It's got Catapult legs and it's iconic "Totally in the right torso" dorsal gun.

At least it hit the gym to bulk up it's arms.

Honestly?

It looks closer to Alex's art than it does to the Glaug, 'right-torso' turret gun aside. Notice this version actually has a cockpit All to the good, really - means we've got a better case for defending our own Marauder take. And frankly I still prefer the right-torso cannon actually being in the right torso as opposed to a 'turret'-mounted dorsal gun that can't actually fire except for straight-ahead...just like a fixed right-torso autocannon.

At least our Marauder's autocannon makes sense.

It's great, can't wait to see more! We need a special edition Technical Readout 3025 with the updated designs and have all the old originals get better art (no changes, just new art,) and I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Yeah, maybe I'm weird, but I actually like that a bit better than the MWO concept as well. It looks a bit closer to the original, though it is more boxy than I generally like.

Same here, THIS design looks more MWOesque (the whole boxy, industrial look) than the one we got (which is very sleek and rounded and clean)

Im gonna have to agree with OP that Sword's MAD fits the theme of the Innerspehere better with it's rough, more militaristic look while Alex's Marauder feels a bit Clannish with it's sleek stylings. i also think Alex's MAD has a better Autocannon placement since it's actually located in the right torso instead of that weird turret mount that probably does not even move. (And would make it possible to shoot the right side off from the left )

I think Alex's Marauder is like mech perfection. I honestly can't think of any mech that looks as awesome as the MWO Marauder art. It looks like it could work in combat because of the angles and shape, which modern tanks use to deflect shots.

This thing may look like the original marauder...but the original marauder looks like garbage in my opinion.
The original Marauder looks like the Gundam ball pod grew horribly misshaped legs

I can't like this enough. I HATE the original MAD look... it does not fit with the rest of the universe artistically.

Aside though, it was intended to usher in a whole new line of mechs. To me the MAD we have looks like a bridge between the Clan mechs and the IS mechs.
