Title says it. Like AC2's do something like 2 damage and Large Pulse Lasers do 13...is that dps or per impact?

It counts the full burn* of the weapon.

If that 'burn' is one shot like the ac2 it means that the one impact will deal 2 damage, while the pulse will shoot several times until it dealt 13.

You can see the dps of individual weapons in smurfy: http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab

Depends on the Weapon.
  • isACs are listed damage in a single slug
  • cACs are over a given number of shells
  • LBx ACs are single damage pellets
  • SRMs are 2 damage rockets (not missiles)
  • Lasers are the listed damage over the entire burn (between 0.5 and 1.5s, plus or minus quirks)

So...I guess you could say a recycle does the listed damage. Except for MGs and Flamers.
  • MGs and Flamers are constant fire weapons, and the 'Firepower' stat is over 5 seconds of constant shooting

Basically boils down to damage per trigger pull, with the exceptions of machine guns and flamers.
