I find the map in the battle map and the mini map is not of a great deal of use as a simple satellite view. As it does not tell you much about where there is a route that you can get up or whether there is a sheer cliff.

I would suggest there be an option to have a contour map option that you could select from the battle map.

Ideally I would love this to be a 3d view but that is not likely.

So it would be a simple top down view.

If you don't know what I mean google ordnance survey contour lines and look at the images.

I kinda like it. Would further simpliefy the map a bit as to many lines could also get confusing.
