So I'm still encountering this to this day and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
I was on the new River City near the citadel and there is a cluster of small rocks shorter than the height of the ankle on my dire wolf and yet I got stuck and died because I could no longer maneuver. Are the problems with these small obstacle being addressed?
I could understand if the rocks were knee height or higher, but the normal step height for my mech should allow it to step over the rocks.

All hail the almighty pebble, bringer of complete stops and lord of endless frustration. Immovable 1-gram object, stopping the unstoppable 100-ton mechs...
...but really, anything that is part of a terrain can and will stop your mech if it is above a certain angle and size, regardless of your mech's size. If anything, light mechs usually have an easier time stepping over these things because of their greater velocity and hill climbing ability. Step height has no effect on whether or not your mech will go over things, unfortunately.

They never should have given these small props any kind of collision mesh.
Should be there for show, and not interfere physically with mechs, as it does more harm than good when they can stop a mech in its tracks.

Ive all but stopped using my assault mechs. The newer maps have so much debris that I get stuck everywhere and instead of fighting I spend half the map doing a shuffle to get unstuck. What makes it worse is that I usually get stuck out in the open somewhere where my Warhawk is giant sitting duck.
I think they put a lot of that stuff in there to slow down the Nascar mechs, but its really murder on the Assaults when they get completely pinned down by a pebble
