As per Reddit thread:

"With Steam they will have "Performance packs". L/M/H/A. Like champions but [S] for Special. 30% c-bill boost, Phranken skin. RVN-3L and ACH noted. SCR and HBK-4P noted. Available in Client Store too.
New Champions coming incl DWF, using those builds for the [S] Special versions too."

Can confirm, anyone who was listening?

I'm rather cool with the idea of existing mechs getting CBill bonus versions. Not exactly the "Apply 30% Quirk to my current mech" idea, but it works, I guess.

Finally I can spend all those useless MCs lying around, ever since packs were introduced. <_<

Not gonna buy IS mechs though, oh no. My money makers will all be Clan mechs. 30% more C-Bill Whale, the Timbie, the Hellbie, etc...

Why? that's exactly what i wanted, to add a bonus to any mech i own, the ones i like. Russ found a way to make sure i will still have to spend cash but in a very limited way instead of letting me get what i want.
