Okay people, I am almost done with my cadet games and should be able to create the unit this weekend. Since we will not be able to do CW with only one mech chassis each, I will not be committing to any faction. So, if any of you have selected factions for your challenge accounts, then try emailing support and explain the nature of this challenge and see if they will let you break your contract at no cost.

That could work since we would still technically have only our one mech type on the account and the Trial mechs do not cost any money / Cbills. Anyway, the first difficulty will be getting enough of us on at the same time to even do group queue.

Good idea, plus we could pug CW for extra mechbays if we have more than 4 variants of our mech.

I have completed my Cadet games, finished the basics on my COM-2D and am one game away from putting an XL on my COM-1D. Oh...and I have created the What Mech Challengers (WM) unit! I have sent invites to all of the Challengers on my friends list who were not already in units, or have not already chosen a faction. Let's Do This!

Wow...this is sooooo painful, lol.

Either I'm going to come out of this a much better player...or needing serious therapy. I can't believe how mediocre VTRs are now...... SMH.

Also can't believe I got stuck in a non Medium......... (could it at least have been an Awesome?!?!?!)

and the more I play this thing..the more I think I ain't going to last the challenge.... this mech is just NOT fun at all.

though I must say, this match, using a totally "locked" Trial Victor, was pretty enjoyable.



the kills were nice, but having 4 of them be solo kills, on a nice rambling battle through the Canyons? Almost enough to make me not hate this mech. ALMOST.

just added this..... seemed apropos since at the beginning of the match I told the Opfor I would "spread a blood eagle from their ****"......





I really do love Canyon Network..... it and River City are where I have most of my best matches. Again, the Trial Victor.... still locked...though I hope to buy the 9S in a day or two.

I've slowly pushed up to a 2.5 KDR in the trial VTR..... curious how I'll do with an unlocked one.... at least until I drop against real competition.....
